Case Study for Recruitment Needs
During the Iraq War, the United States depended on its Marines to fulfill the country’s military commitments. As the war continued, and the toll on our fighting forces grew, the United States needed to increase the number of active Marines. One of the ways they did this was through local recruitment centers; however, the website for the recruiting station in Fort Collins, Colorado, was not being listed on Google. This website is a key marketing tool in getting information to potential Marines so they can sign up. Connection Marketing implemented some basic search engine optimization and got the Marines to rank on Google, reaching the number one position locally. Both enrollment and program awareness increased.
